Synopsis/Summary of Qualifications:

Mr. Slack has more than twenty-five years of executive and hands on experience managing environmental and process engineering projects for government, municipalities and private industry clients.  He has managed or conducted more than 500 projects which include process safety management; risk management, spill prevention control and counter-measure plans (over 100 successfully implemented), storm water pollution prevention plans (over 100 successfully implemented) crisis communications, industrial and municipal water and waste water treatment plants; safety audits; emergency response planning; waste minimization; environmental compliance; soil and groundwater remediation; environmental impact assessments.

As the Senior Vice President of an international consulting company, Mr. Slack oversaw construction operations to pursue remedial and civil/environmental construction projects.  During the years, Mr. Slack managed the construction operation type, projects expanded to include design/construct/operate wastewater treatment plants, process facilities, piping and combined sewer overflow.

Mr. Slack has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BS in Biology and is a licensed professional engineer in forty-four states and the District of Columbia.  His professional affiliations include the Environmental Committee of the First Coast Manufacturing Association; Program Committee of the National Association of Environmental Management; Central Florida Economic Development Commission, Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI): OEPA Regulatory Advisory Board.

Prior to entering consulting engineering, Mr. Slack worked in the private sector for Chrysler Corporation, Envotech and DHA & Associates, additionally; Mr. Slack serves as a private contractor to the Department of State and Department of Justice. Mr. Slack conducts seminars on Risk Management, Environmental Compliance and Storm Water Management.

Mr. Slack founded Quest Consultants & Associates. The firm specializes in professional engineering services for environmental compliance throughout the US.
